In the fictional world of the Legend of Zelda video game series by Nintendo, Zoras are either an aquatic enemy (river Zoras), appearing mostly in 2-D games, or a race of amphibious humanoids (ocean Zoras), appearing mostly in 3-D games. The rest of this article concerns the latter. For "river-zoras", see Zola.
Zoras can live on ground and in the water. The Zoras are very sensitive, especially in the water. Zoras have long head-tails much like the tails of dolphins. Zoras are also scaled (their scales are silver but from a distance they look pale blue) and many have dark blue spots as well. Zoras also lack ears in the traditional sense though they do have noses. Zoras can breath under-water though they have no visible gills.
Zora culture revolves around the water, swimming, and fishing (and they are very good at it). Zora Government is monarchial, and as with Deku Scrubs royalty has a different apparance than commoners.
Zoras worship and serve the Wind Fish Lord Jabu Jabu VII.
