?agarė is a township located in the region of Joni?kis, Northern Lithuania. It has the population of about 3,000. The foundation of ?agarė dates back to the twelfth century. It was an important center of ?iemgaliai warriors, who fought against the Teutonic Order. Today ?agarė is the administrative center of the ?agarė Regional Park, known for its valuable urban and natural heritage.
