Yam O

Yam O (陰澳) is at the northern part of the Lantau Island, in Hong Kong.

MTR is building a railway linking Yam O with the future Hong Kong Disneyland theme park. The station for the Disneyland train will be Yan O Station on Tung Chung Line.

Yam O may be renamed to Yan O (欣澳), because of the construction of the Disneyland theme park at Penny's Bay. Yam (陰) in Chinese means dark, but Yan (欣) means happy, therefore prompting the Hong Kong Government to change the name to provide a suitable atmosphere for the Disneyland rail link.
