Xi'an Jiaotong University is a university in Xi'an, China.
It was established in 1896, under the name Nan Yang College, and became Jiaotong University in 1921, after a merger with several other institutes. Between 1955 and 1959, the university was split into 4 parts located in 4 cities. The Xi'an campus became Xi'an Jiaotong University.
The alumni include Jiang Zemin, Qian Xuesen, Wu Wenjun, Zhang Guangdou, Jiang Zhenghua and List of universities in mainland China
