Winnipeg International Airport is an airport in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is a major air travel centre in western Canada.
The airport uses the IATA Airport Code YWG.
Opening in 1928, it was Canada's first international airport. A major project involving the construction of a new terminal is on the drawing board. It is scheduled to be completed by 2009.
