West Midlands

The West Midlands refers to the western area of The Midlands in central England: see West Midlands (region). The name has also been used for two administrative areas:

the official government West Midlands region, and European Parliament constituency
the smaller metropolitan county of the West Midlands, consisting of the conurbation at the heart of the region, centred on Birmingham.
