Weather Girls
The Weather Girls were a United States girl group (singers Martha Wash and Izora Armstead) who scored a massive disco hit with 1982 classic It's Raining Men. They were previously known as Two Tons O' Fun, under which name they recorded the number 2 American Billboard Disco chart hit Earth Can Be Just Like Heaven (1980) and the number 29 American R&B chart hit Just Us (1980). They also backed Sylvester.
This term often refers to the female presenter on a television weather forecast.
