Walthamstow Central station
Walthamstow Central is a station on the Victoria Line of the London Underground, and on a British Rail line (Liverpool Street to Chingford in Zone 3. It is the terminus of the Victoria Line, the next station being Blackhorse Road. On the main line it lies between Wood Street and St James Street.
The Victorial Line station was opened 1 September 1968, the GE station being opened as Hoe Street 26 April 1870, being renamed on 6 May 1968.
There have been plans to extend the Victoria Line beyond Walthamstow Central.
It is close to Walthamstow Queens Road.
