According to Wheels24 (as cited in the "References" section) the Premier Automotive Group plans to offer the XC60, a Volvo-branded model of sport utility vehicle, to the public in the last part of 2006. Volvo would assemble the XC60 with gasoline- and diesel-burning engines. Further, the XC60 would share technology with the next-generation Land Rover Freelander, which will use a modified version of the Ford C1 platform.
