Volvo 740
Volvo 740 is an automobile from Volvo released in 1984. It was the next model Volvo Cars produced following the Volvo 240, and both models were manufactured at the same time for some years.
There were three models in the 700-series. The Volvo 740, Volvo 760, and Volvo 780.
The 740 had a sleek, stylish design unlike the more boxy 240 that preceeded it. The interior was also redone, with more adjustable leather seats and a completely different dashboard arrangement. Certain models had a turbocharger and intercooler, and models with 16-valve engines were also available. Following with the 200-series, Volvo made both sedan and station wagon 740-series cars.
