Volkswagen Touareg

The VW Touareg is an automobile manufactured by Volkswagen. It is a luxury SUV (UK: 4x4), the first ever produced by VW.

The Touareg is the product of a joint venture with Porsche which also produced the Porsche Cayenne. As a result, the two vehicles share many mechanical components.

The following engines are available:

174PS (172bhp) 2.5 litre Diesel Inline-4 (*UK Only)
240PS (236bhp) 3.2 litre Petrol V6
310PS (305bhp) 4.2 litre Petrol V8
313PS (308bhp) 5.0 litre Diesel V10

The most powerful engine pushes the Touareg from 0-62mph (100Km/h) in 9.9 seconds, and on to 125mph maximum.
