USS Salt Lake City (SSN-716)
The second USS Salt Lake City (SSN-716) is a Los Angeles-class attack submarine. The contract to build her was awarded to Newport News Shipbuilding 15 September 1977, and her keel was laid down 26 August 1980. She was launched 16 October 1982, delivered to the Navy 30 April 1984, and commissioned 12 May 1984.
