USS Nebraska (SSBN-739)
USS Nebraska (SSBN-739) is the 14th Ohio class submarine, and the second U.S. naval ship to be named in honor of the 37th state of the Union. It is a ballistic missile submarine capable of carying the Trident missile. SSBN-739 is also nicknamed 'Big Red', which is shared with the University of Nebraska. USS Nebraska's home port is Kings Bay, Georgia.
