U.S. Highway 70



         


United States Highway 70 is an east-west United States highway that runs for 2,385 miles from eastern North Carolina to east-central Arizona.

Termini

As of 2004, the highway's eastern terminus is Atlantic, North Carolina. Its western terminus is Globe, Arizona at U.S. Highway 60.

Originally it reached downtown Los Angeles even though it was duplexed with U.S. Highway 99 and/or U.S. Highway 60 throughout its course west of Globe, Arizona. Beginning in 1964 it was decommissioned in favor of Interstate 10 or US 60.
