U.S. Highway 601 is a spur of U.S. Highway 1. It runs 318 miles from Mount Airy, North Carolina at U.S. Highway 52 to Tarboro, South Carolina at U.S. Highway 321. It passes through the states of North Carolina and South Carolina.
