U.S. Highway 501 is a spur of U.S. Highway 1. It runs 355 miles from Buena Vista, Virginia at U.S. Highway 60 to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It passes through the states of Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. It goes through the cities of Lynchburg, Virginia, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Durham, North Carolina, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
