U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois
The United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois is the Federal district court whose jurisdiction is comprised of the following counties: Boone, Carroll, Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Grundy, Jo Daviess, Kane, Kendall, La Salle, Lake, Lee, McHenry, Ogle, Stephenson, Whiteside, Will, and Winnebago. It has jurisdiction over Chicago and its suburbs and the city of Rockford.
The United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court.
