Trolley



         


Trolley is:

  1. the term used in non-American English to refer to what Americans know as a cart, especially a shopping cart
  2. the term used in American English to refer to what is elsewhere known as a tram (also known as light rail)
  3. the term also refers to a mechanism that rolls along a suspended rail or track.
  4. A Porter's Trolley is a type of hand truck.
