Toyota Highlander

The Toyota Highlander (called Kluger V in Japan) is a model of SUV (a type of automobile) assembled by Toyota Motor Corp. under the Toyota brand name. Initially, the Highlander was a regular SUV driven by internal combustion engine, but later Toyota introduced a hybrid version, the Highlander Hybrid at the 2004 North American International Auto Show. According to J. Press (as cited in CanadianDriver Communications, Inc., 2004), who at that time was the Chief Operating Officer of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., Toyota planned to offer the Highlander Hybrid to the public in early 2005.
