Todmorden



         


Todmorden is a town in the county of West Yorkshire, England, south of Hebden Bridge, and on the Rochdale Canal.

John Cockcroft who won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1951, was born here.

It was also the town in which serial killer Harold Shipman had his first medical practice.
