This Magazine is a Canadian political magazine. It is one of Canada's most successful independent magazines, and the country's major left-wing/progressive media outlet.

The magazine was launched in 1966 as This Magazine is About Schools, a journal covering political issues in the education system. It gradually expanded its focus to include a wide variety of political, arts and cultural writing from a progressive perspective.
