Thesprotia
Thesprotia is one of the fifty-one prefectures of Greece. It is within the Epirus periphery. The capital is in Igoumenitsa.
A new highway which began construction in 1996 which links all the way to Thessaloniki and is scheduled to open in mid or late 2004 and 2005. There is a probability of a bridge to Corfu which is currently unplanned and unscheduled. Main roads are GR-19 and GR-6
Igoumenitsa is the Port of Corfu which serves ferry routes to the islands of Corfu, Antipaxoi, and Epirus:
