The Shuffle Demons

The Shuffle Demons were a Canadian jazz fusion band, who had a surprise hit on the Canadian pop charts in 1986 with their single "Spadina Bus".

The song, from their debut album Streetniks, referred to the Toronto Transit Commission's Spadina Avenue bus in Toronto, Ontario.

The Shuffle Demons released four more albums over the next seven years. They retained a cult following on the jazz scene, but never scored another mainstream pop hit.
