The Prayer of Jabez

The Prayer of Jabez is a Christian book written by Bruce Wilkinson in 2000. It is based on the passage 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, in which Jabez prays to God for blessings on his house and expansion of his territory; God hears him and grants the prayer. In the book Wilkinson encourages Christians to boldness in praying this prayer for themselves.

The book became an international bestseller, topping the New York Times bestseller list and selling nine million copies.
