The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is the debut solo album by former Fugee Lauryn Hill. Released 25 August, 1998 (see 1998 in music), the album swept the Grammy Awards, setting new records for black women, female hip hop artists and women in general. The album includes collaborations with soul singer D'Angelo ("Nothing Even Matters"), psychedelia-guitarist Curtis Mayfield and hip hop artist Mary J. Blige.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill received two Grammy Awards, for Best Album and Best R&B Album.
