The House I Live In

"The House I Live In" was an 11-minute film made by producer Frank Ross and actor Frank Sinatra to oppose anti-Semitism and prejudice at the end of World War II. It received a special Academy Award in 1946. A recording of both the song and Sinatra's acceptance speech for the Oscar are available on "Frank Sinatra in Hollywood 1940-1964 [Box Set]." I haven't found a complete copy of the movie, but a clip of it is used in a video I saw recenlty; I think it's just called "Sinatra." Sinatra recorded the song at least three times, the last as a duet with Neil Diamond.
