The Chronicles of Riddick

The Chronicles of Riddick is an American science fiction film sequel to Pitch Black directed by David Twohy and starring Vin Diesel and Judi Dench, with Thandie Newton, Karl Urban and Colm Feore.

Plot

Five years after Pitch Black events, bounty hunters try to catch Diesel's character, Riddick, a fugitive in a frozen planet. Riddick quit alone the planet in their craft, seeking vengeance against the one who has betrayed him: Imam, whom he saved long ago.

Imam discloses his intention to find Riddick to help them fight against Necromongers inminent attack, so trapping him in the middle of an intergalactic war called "The 10th Crusade". Necromongers are a warlike race of men venering an universe from the Great Beyond.
