Texas League
The Texas League is a minor league baseball league which operates in the South Central United States. It is classified a AA (double-A) league. The league was first formed in 1888, and has had member teams located in several of the surrounding states, including Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, New Mexico, and most recently Missouri. Through 2004, the league was divided into an East Division and a West Division, but the move of two teams after that season may lead to a change in divisional alignments.
