Texas Instruments TI-99 4



         


The Texas Instruments TI-99/4 was the first 16-bit home computer. For various reasons, its chiclet keyboard being but one of them, the TI-99/4 was no commercial success, and so was quickly replaced with a successor, the TI-99/4A (see the TI-99/4A article for more information).
