Terry Farrell

Terry Farrell (born November 19, 1963) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is an American actor. At the age of 16, Terry signed with the prestigious Elite modeling agency, and moved to New York City. She studied extensively in New York and Los Angeles. She portrayed Jadzia Dax in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the bartender in Becker, and The Cat in an American pilot of Red Dwarf. She has been on Vogue and Madamoiselle covers. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her dog, Romona. She is married to Sprint spokesman Brian Baker.

Farrell played the character on DS9 for six seasons.

In "Tears of the Prophets" (the final episode of the sixth season, 1998), Jadzia Dax is left in command of DS9 and is killed by Gul Dukat. It is rumored that in real life Terry left the series after the end of her six-year contract to pursue movies or left over a salary dispute.
