Termina is a fictional land from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. An alternative dimension to Hyrule.
Not actually in Termina, but included because it is relavent to the story. Link is ambushed by a wayward Skull Kid wearing Majora's Mask, who steals his Ocarina of Time and Epona, his horse, so the Hero of Time chases him through a hole in space-time to a gap between dimensions and then to Termina. However, the Skull Kid turns him into a Deku Scrub using the strange powers of Majora's Mask.
The center of Termina, inhabited by Terminians.
Resident Great Fairy: Magic (Orange Hair)
Deku Scrub Link emerges in Termina in the basement of this edifice. He meets the Happy Mask Salesman, who instructs him to regain The Precious Item that was Stolen from Him and Majora's Mask. Time does not seem to pass normally in the Clock Tower.
Deku Link emerges from the Clock Tower in South Clock Town to find a land in chaos, under the influence of the Skull Kid, who has knocked the moon out of orbit. It will crash into the centre of Termina, causing the destruction of the entire world, in just 3 days...
Very little is here except for the Great Fairy and Jim, head of the Bombers Gang. Sakon the theif also steals from travelers during nighttime.
Contains the Clock Tower and will be the site of the main part of the festival. Link always starts here at Dawn of the First Day.
Contains the entrance to the Bomber's Hideout, the Mayor's Residence, the Stock Pot Inn, and various games.
Contains several shops and the bank.
A small place with a door and a bell. He who lives beyond the door appears shy, and the bell's sign says that it leads to the Curiosity Shop.
Surrounding Clock Town is a large field that separates it from the other four regions of Termina. It's only inhabitants are creatures such as Dodongos, Keese, a sword stealing bird called the Takkuri buzzard, and the ghost of a dancer who will give you a mask to continue his dancing legacy.
South of Clock Town. Home to the Deku Scrubs.
Resident Great Fairy: Power (Pink Hair)
North of Clock Town, and home to Termina's Gorons.
Resident Great Fairy: Wisdom (Green Hair)
South-West of Clock Town. Humans live there.
Owned by the greedy Gorman brothers (suspicious characters), who may both aid and hinder Link in his quest.
A large ranch owned by the sisters Romani and Cremia. Could Epona have fled here?
West of Clock Town. Inhabited by Zoras.
Resident Great Fairy: Courage (Purple Hair)
East of Clock Town, characterized by high cliffs, and few living things. Inhabited by many different undead beings, exactly 4 humans (5 if you count Tingle), and one deku scrub.
Resident Great Fairy: Kindness (Blonde Hair)
Many people are buried here, notably Captain Keeta and the composer Flat.
Residence of Igos du Ikana, former king of Ikana.
A marvel of Ikanian architecture, the stone tower houses the stone tower temple, an ancient edifice that was used in ancient days to pray to the god of the canyon, Twinmold. However, now a giant has been trapped in its body, and only Link can break the curse of Majora to free the innocent being within using the stone mask. He uses the light arrows to magically reverse the power of gravity, thus making the stone tower temple appear to be upside down. Some rooms can only be acessed while the tower is flipped.
Just an ordinary moon until the power of Majora transformed its crater-marked surface into a devilish grimace. Destined to collide with the land of Termina in three day's time, Link, with the help of the four guardian giants, returns the moon to its proper orbit by defeating the evil power of Majora.
Identical to Hylians in Hyrule, yet totally different. Since in this alternate universe, the dominant race (being humaniod creatures) evolved with the same genetic traits, i.e. long ears and pale caucasian skin, yet only the Hylians/Hyrulians are blessed by the gods with magical skills, etc. The Terminians, as the collective race of those who inhabit Clock Town are called, are higher technologically than the Hylians, but have lost the sense of religion that is felt in Hyrule. The Terminians are friendly in nature.
Unknown if they are another race, they are a died-out civilization with a history of blood that was located in eastern Termina. Their ruins are explored by Link in order to free the fourth giant in the body of Twinmold. Now a wasteland haunted by vengeful spirits, virtually the only living people there are the paranormal researcher, and his daughter. Tingle also stops by occasionally to peddle the usual map or two.
a.k.a. Carnival of Time, this is a festival central in the Terminan calendar. On this day, people wear handmade masks for good luck and walk up the walkway from the festival tower to the Clock tower, where they sing an ancient song to the gods to wish for a good harvest and luck in the year to come. It is said that if a couple dedicate two masks to the sun and the moon and get married on this day, their marriage will be a prosperous and happy one. Told by Anju's Grandmother.
