(The Lost Woods)

Not actually in Termina, but included because it is relavent to the story. Link is ambushed by a wayward Skull Kid wearing Majora's Mask, who steals his Ocarina of Time and Epona, his horse, so the Hero of Time chases him through a hole in space-time to a gap between dimensions and then to Termina. However, the Skull Kid turns him into a Deku Scrub using the strange powers of Majora's Mask.

Stone Tower Temple

A marvel of Ikanian architecture, the stone tower houses the stone tower temple, an ancient edifice that was used in ancient days to pray to the god of the canyon, Twinmold. However, now a giant has been trapped in its body, and only Link can break the curse of Majora to free the innocent being within using the stone mask. He uses the light arrows to magically reverse the power of gravity, thus making the stone tower temple appear to be upside down. Some rooms can only be acessed while the tower is flipped.

The Moon

Just an ordinary moon until the power of Majora transformed its crater-marked surface into a devilish grimace. Destined to collide with the land of Termina in three day's time, Link, with the help of the four guardian giants, returns the moon to its proper orbit by defeating the evil power of Majora.

Peoples

[Top]

Humans/Hylians

Identical to Hylians in Hyrule, yet totally different. Since in this alternate universe, the dominant race (being humaniod creatures) evolved with the same genetic traits, i.e. long ears and pale caucasian skin, yet only the Hylians/Hyrulians are blessed by the gods with magical skills, etc. The Terminians, as the collective race of those who inhabit Clock Town are called, are higher technologically than the Hylians, but have lost the sense of religion that is felt in Hyrule. The Terminians are friendly in nature.

Ikana and its people

Unknown if they are another race, they are a died-out civilization with a history of blood that was located in eastern Termina. Their ruins are explored by Link in order to free the fourth giant in the body of Twinmold. Now a wasteland haunted by vengeful spirits, virtually the only living people there are the paranormal researcher, and his daughter. Tingle also stops by occasionally to peddle the usual map or two.

Festival of Time

a.k.a. Carnival of Time, this is a festival central in the Terminan calendar. On this day, people wear handmade masks for good luck and walk up the walkway from the festival tower to the Clock tower, where they sing an ancient song to the gods to wish for a good harvest and luck in the year to come. It is said that if a couple dedicate two masks to the sun and the moon and get married on this day, their marriage will be a prosperous and happy one. Told by Anju's Grandmother.
