Telegard is an early Bulletin board system (BBS) written for IBM PC-compatible computers running MS-DOS. Telegard was written in Pascal and released in 1986, making it one of the first BBS packages for that platform. Telegard was based on an earlier BBS package called WWIV. Presently Telegard is best known as the predecessor of Renegade, the most popular BBS software written.
