Reverend Syed Mohammad Jaunpuri is the Islamic Traditional 'Mahdi', the promised Mahdi. This belief is held by a number of people who call themselves Mahdawi or Mahdavi and are basically found in the Indian sub-continent. Also a number of his followers are living in the Arabian gulf countries, USA, Canada and UK.
