Switch (debit card)



         


The Switch debit card is a debit card used in the United Kingdom; it is a sister of Solo, Switch was launched in 1988 by Midland Bank, NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland. The payment system is currently (2004) been merged with the Maestro, the international debit card. This merger is been referred to as the "penguin wedding" with distinctive advertisements of the penguins in different international settings, by Joel Veitch.
