Swissguide AG is owner and operator of the .
Swissguide makes an application available on the Internet in which all companies can be looked up in a predefined database of Swiss industry. Access can be made by company name, category and products in addition to other criteria defined by the Provider.
The database of Swissguide is based on the basic data of all companies recorded in the commercial registers of all Swiss Cantons, supplemented with production locations, branches, sales offices as well as small companies and single proprietorships from other sources. The main suppliers of the basic data are:
- Orell Füssli Business Information Ltd, Zurich
- AZ Direct AG, St. Gall and Lucerne
- Self-declarations of the companies
