Striker

Striker, known originally as centre forward (or merely forward), is an association football term for the most attacking row of players in a team. Also known as attackers, they are principally responsible for goal scoring. Modern player formations include one to three strikers, usually two.
Strikers generally have the highest transfer value and are usually the best known because they score more goals than other players.
