Stranger Than Fiction (1994) was the band Bad Religion's last album with Brett Gurewitz, and the first on the Sony record label.
The song 21st Century (Digital Boy) was already released in 1990 on the album Against the Grain. Sony wanted them to do release it again because they couldn't "hear a single" on it. All the songs were written by Graffin and Gurewitz, except News From The Front, written by Jay Bentley.
