Stoke Newington railway station links Stoke Newington to Liverpool Street in central London, and to Hertford East and Enfield Town further north. Trains generally run every fifteen minutes.

The station is on the Seven Sisters branch of the Lee Valley lines, and almost all trains passing through the station stop there.

The station is in Travelcard Zone 2.
