Steve Canyon

Steve Canyon was an action/adventure comic strip written by Milton Caniff. Caniff began this strip in 1947 and ran it until his death in 1988. Caniff was know for this style of comic strips made to tell a story rather than a quick joke. Following his success of Terry and the Pirates, Steve Canyon was a success from the first publishing.

The character of Steve Canyon was a veteran airman running his own air transport business. His debonair attitude and macho American approach got him and his buddies (all veterans) into and out of many situations.
