Stephen King (paedophile)

Stephen King (not to be confused with the author Stephen King) is a convicted paedophile. On March 18, 2004, King was sentenced to seven years incarceration for the "systematic abuse" of 3 girls aged between 9 and 13 years old.

Stephen King, 54, living in Herne Hill, South London, had unlawful sex with a 10-year-old girl. He pleaded guilty to a total of 21 charges, which included sex with a girl under 13, and 10 cases of indecent assault.

He took 500 photographs, kept a diary of each sexual encounter and made a video showing acts of indecency with the girls. These took place between October 1996 and the end of 1999.

Previously, in 1989, he had been convicted for gross indecency, and served 6 months in jail.

Despite this, he had been accepted as an "expert" who advised on how to protect children from paedophiles, and who also recommended sentences for child abusers.
