Stenolaemata is a class under phylum Ectoprocta. Stenolaemata typically live under seawater and grow on surfaces of rocks and shells. These species will have bryozoans' common characteristics, since they at one time were categorized under the bryozoa.

Class stenolaemata can be further divided into 21 families, Calvetidae, Corymboporidae, Crisiidae, Crisinidae, Cytididae, Diaperoeciidae, Diastoporidae, Frondiporidae, Hastingsiidae, Heteroporidae, Horneridae, Lichenoporidae, Mecynoeciidae, Oncousoeciidae, Pseudidmoneidae, Stigmatoechidae, Terviidae, Theononidae, Tretocycloecidae, Tubuliporidae, and order Cyclostomatida.
