Starfleet Tactical

In the Star Trek fictional universe, Starfleet Tactical is the Federation Department of Defence, responsible for fleet and troop deployments. It's main role is to provide security and defence for the Federation. Branches of Starfleet Tactical include:

• Starfleet Advance Technologies Assembly: Responsible for advance weapons development. Works closely with Starfleet Engineering Corp and the Vulcan Science Directorate.

• Starfleet Marine Corp: Soldiers that specialize in repeling bording parties and invading enemy ships, mainly used for escorting and counter terrorism.

• CORE Special Forces: Elite Starfleet Special Forces, made up of elite black ops/special forces operatives
