Stadium-Armory (Washington Metro)
Stadium-Armory is a Washington Metro station in Washington, DC on the Blue and Orange Lines. It is a transfer station for the Blue and Orange lines, but they do not cross; this is where the two lines converge going west.
The station is located in Southeast Washington, with entrances on 19th Street at C Street and Independence Avenue. It serves RFK Stadium, the former home of the Washington Redskins, and the DC Armory, another popular venue for shows and entertainment. It also serves DC General Hospital and the DC Jail. Service began on July 1, 1977.
