St Mirren F.C.

Saint Mirren Football Club (usually referred to simply as St Mirren or The Saints) is a Scottish football club based in Paisley in the West of Scotland. The team is named after the Irish monk Saint Mirin who is said to have founded the town's Abbey. They currently play in the Scottish Football League First Division.

St Mirren started off playing cricket in the late 19th century, but by 1877 had changed over to playing in the football league. They have won the Scottish FA Cup in 1926, 1959 and 1987.
