The SS John W. Brown is a Liberty ship, one of two remaining still floating today. The ship is today a museum ship located in Baltimore Harbor. The ship was named after labor union leader John W. Brown.

Following World War II the John W. Brown served as a nautical high school in New York City until 1982. She was then handed over to the private organization
