South Prussia (1793-1806) was a province of the Kingdom of Prussia, created in Greater Poland after the second partition of Poland (1793). The main city was Poznan and later Warsaw. After Napoleon conquered most of Europe and the Poles rebelled in 1806, it became part of the Duchy of Warsaw.
