South Midlands



         


The South Midlands is an area of England. It is one of the areas identified by the Government for urban development. It consists of Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, and northern Buckinghamshire - the latter two areas not usually being considered part of the general Midlands area.

It is split between three Government Office Regions - East Midlands, East, and South East.
