Soundscape
Soundscape refers to an atmosphere or environment created by or with sound. Analysing the soundscape of a piece of music involves catagorising the individual instruments and voices and drawing them as three-dimensional boxes. Depending on the volume, the position of the sound and other criteria, the box for a sound is drawn bigger or smaller. This type of graphical illustration makes it easier to see what needs to be changed or what makes a particular soundscape "perfect."
