She fronted the band theaudience until it split up, and since then has pursued a successful solo career, with hits such as 'Take Me Home' (2001), 'Murder On The Dancefloor' (2001), 'Get Over You' (2002), and 'I Won't Change You' (2003). She is the daughter of Janet Ellis. She has a son Sonny.
