Sonic X

Sonic X is the newest Sonic the Hedgehog television series, based roughly on the storylines of Sonic Adventure series.

It was animated and produced in Japan with the partnership of Sega and the Sonic Team. In 2003, 4 Kids Entertainment licensed Sonic X for American television broadcasting and is currently airing on the Fox Box. Originally planned as a 52 episode series which would be inspired by the storylines of the Sonic Adventure games, this was expanded by another 26 epiodes when the series proved to be more popular than expected.
